Karen's approach to asana encompasses the Iyengar emphasis on proper alignment and an understanding of how to adapt the poses to students' needs. Building strength, developing endurance, finding new flexibility and achieving deep relaxation are all goals of her classes. Karen has taught classes in Marin county for 15 years, she is certified by the Iyengar Institute of San Francisco and resides in Mill Valley with her husband and two children.
