The true force behind yoga lies in its power to con-
nect us with the deepest parts of ourselves. As
we build more strength and fluidity in the body,
we naturally cultivate more clarity in the mind and
openness in the heart. By delicately unwinding the
deep-held physical and emotional patterns of con-
ditioning, we uncover our purest potential and in-
nate sense of freedom.
Join me in the sacred pause of these longer prac-
tice sessions, to untether the mind, enliven the
body and take rest in our natural states of wisdom,
compassion, and awareness.
The longer practice will weave the meditative Yin
style with a stronger flow, as a way to mindfully
direct energy and expand our inner capacity both
physically and psychologically. We will explore the
subtle body and chakra system, and work with this
energetic interface between the physical and the
universal, cultivating tools for self-healing and ways
to harmonize our inner life with our daily living.
The weekly sessions will allow space and time to
examine the precision of alignment, strengthen
core awareness, and sharpen our sensitivity to the
subtle body anatomy. In addition to asana we will
explore pranayama and meditation, with time for
personal reflection.

Weaving together principles of alignment with a
meditative flow, Hillary offers her students a
physically challenging practice, embraced with heart
and spirit. With emphasis on breath, core, and subtle
body awareness, each class draws on the inner
experience to uncover what's possible on the mat and
beyond. Along with her studies in Vinyasa Flow,
Anusara, Yin Yoga & Meditation, Hillary's style draws
from her integrative approach Breathing Room,
synthesizing yoga, life coaching, & design to create
more space and grace in the body, heart, and the
environments we reside.
