Break old habits, attachments and behaviors while surrendering and cultivating patience
and mental strength. We will explore various techniques to open up physical energy
pathways and work towards acquiring inner balance and harmony.
About Kundalini Yoga: Kundalini Yoga combines physical, mental, and spiritual
practices to clear blockages in the body, increases blood circulation and sharpens the
glandular and nervous system. Brought to the West in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan, Kundalini
is a practice combining breath work, asana (physical postures), kriya (sequencing), and
meditation. Kundalini is said to surpass other types of yoga in its speed and effectiveness
of accessing this enormous reserve of untapped potential within each one of us. Elevation
of consciousness, promotion of physical well-being and an expansion of awareness are
the benefits of this form of yoga. Through breath work, movement, and bandhas, or locks,
Kundalini energy rises through the Chakras to the crown – the result is clarity of self, a
perception that expands awareness and connection to the infinite.
